Bambi On Ice- Which Footballer

This Senegalese footballer was signed by then Southampton manager Graeme Souness after his agent posed as George Weah and said that his client was Weah’s cousin.

He played only one game for the Saints- a reserve fixture against Leeds United. A substitute for Matt Le Tissier, he danced like “Bambi on Ice” and was “embarrassing to watch” , in the words of those who saw him in action.

A regular on many papers’ lists of the “worst football transfers” and “worst football players”
